Smile Nation returned to the Slovenian capital in a completely new edition. The largest electronic music brand in Slovenia opened the season of 2022 on 25th of June and with it the KO Agency work pace for the rest of the year was set.
Smile Nation put Ljubljana on the global festival map seven years ago, when the success story began with performances of the leading electronic, pop and hip hop stars. Since then, the festival has hosted more than 25 world class music performers and drew more than 55.000 smiles on the faces of attendees.
This year we did it again with performances by international superstar artists and regional stars, who sold out one of the best event venues in the region. We introduced a completely new event concept for the attendees, giving them the opportunity to experience world-class club party in their hometown. The world’s best performers, including Dutch DJ and production duo W&W who performed for the first time in Slovenia, Kosta Radman, Mandy and others delivered a spectacular show, heated up the atmosphere and raised the energy to a “dangerously” high level =).
Smile Nation is a new generation of events that brings numerous attendees from Slovenia and abroad to Ljubljana. The event is growing in visibility every year, with the aim of becoming the largest of its kind in the region. Here are just some of the achievements that show we are on the right track: nomination for Ambassador award for the best regional event of the year, more than 35,000 followers on social media, more than 50,000 visitors, the organization of the only three-day music festival in Europe that took place during the pandemic, and most importantly – putting unforgettable smiles on people’s faces.
